About Us

PACE Parent Group

The PACE Parent Group (PPG) was founded in 2001, evolving from the 1996 "PACE PhoneBank" into a nonprofit led by parent volunteers. PPG raises and manages donations to support PACE academic and scholarship programs.

PPG has funded essential educational resources, including mobile computer labs, classroom aides, AP prep, tutoring, teacher training, and field trips. Each year, it awards at least 10 scholarships to college-bound PACE seniors.

PACE thrives on support from families, alumni, and the community. Donations are tax-deductible and directly benefit students. To contribute or volunteer, fill out our contact form or email paceparentgroup@gmail.com.

PACE turns 50 this year

For half a century, PACE has been shaping the minds of ambitious students at Long Beach Poly High School. Established in 1975, PACE was designed to provide a rigorous, college-preparatory program that challenges students through an advanced curriculum. To this day, PACE has remained a beacon of opportunity, attracting top students from across Long Beach and preparing them for success in higher education and beyond. Here's to 50 years of academic achievement—and many more to come!

What We Support

Scholarships

Each year, we invest in the future of 10 outstanding PACE seniors with $2,000 merit scholarships, empowering them for college success. Our recipients share how PACE gave them the foundation to thrive in higher education.

Parent Education

We equip parents with expert-led sessions on college admissions, teen communication, and stress management—helping families navigate the high school journey with confidence.

Clubs

We fuel student passions by supporting top-tier campus clubs like Model United Nations and Rabbotics, ensuring they have the resources to compete and excel.

Teacher & Classroom Support

From AP prep and tutoring to teacher training and field trips, we invest in the tools and experiences that elevate learning and enrich the classroom.
